The main stretch of my hometown (Selma AL), pre-1969. The large building in the foreground (to the left) was torn down in that year -- much to the dismay of many in town. Architecturally it shares elements with the Palace of the Doges in Venice. That block was cleared and is now home to city hall and a newer library, although thankfully they follow classical styles. ImageShack shrunk the image, but if you look at the end of the street you can see the Edmund Pettus Bridge, made famous during the Civil Rights era. The street is alas -- never this busy anymore, as a mall and multiple chain stores have rendered many of these buildings occupied only on the first floor.

Behold! Oh, the great Toughbook has graced TrekBBS with its presense! Yup, I'm a minimalist. I have an CDO. It's just like OCD, just in alphabetical order. Gangsta pony of Doom!
That's my Macbook, I'm too lazy to go over to my PC and take a screenshot. Black menu by Obsidian Bar.
I like the colour transition. Which version, if you don't mind me asking? When did Ubuntu have those grey bars? That's awesome.
That wallpaper is actually pulled from the latest version of Android. Using it on an Apple product... amuses me.
Ah, I see. Well if it isn't clear, I happen to love rainbows so, yeah. Still, pretty wallpaper! And yes, the circumstances are not lost on me. Fortunately, I love Apple AND the Android OS, so it's win/win.
Whoops, sorry, full sized version. http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/306/8/8/rainbow_graffiti_wallpaper_by_aruigus808-d4etc3y.png
^ Awesome! Speaking of Christmas, I'm hoping MLP fans and artists put out a few Christmas wallpapers. Until then, I really wanted a nice splash of color and went for this for now:
