Offensive has ALWAYS been funny. Plus, what one person finds offensive won't be the same thing that another person finds offensive. Since someone is always gonna find something in humor offensive, perhaps we should ban humor*.

I like those pieces, mostly because it's funny to read it with the character's voice in your head.

 

Eh, don't mind me, I broke up with my girlfriend today, so things don't seem as funny as they probably are.

 

Reminds me of the day my girlfriend broke up with me (on my lunch break, no less). When I was back at work stocking tomatoes some customer comes up to me and says "What a nice day it is isn't it." I wanted to strangle the shit out of her and play jump rope with her intestines.
