Earlier this month, the Huffington Post put out a NSFW supercut of improvised weapons in film. The (annoyingly totally uncredited) background song is pretty catchy, and definitely modern indie-pop, but despite googling several different bits of its lyrics, I can't find anything about it, a first for me. The only explanation I can think of is it's a track that's yet to be publicly released that a trendy editor got his hands on. Anyone have any suggestions?
I'm honestly baffled as to why the lyrics show up nowhere on line. But I might be able to narrow it down a little. She sounds very much like the Australian artist Missy Higgins. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Missy_higgins
She also very much sounds like either Ingrid Michaelson or Yael Naim. Maybe you could send them a message through their channel and someone might respond? http://www.youtube.com/user/HuffingtonPost/about
