The fact that it's a Kate episode aside, they've got a lot of promising balls in the air at the moment and I think they may actually be able to deliver a good one. As always, I can't wait. Oh, and Agent Richard, one of your better graphics. The actual Petit Prince is a nice touch!
I'm not too thrilled by the prospect of a Kate-centric episode, but I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. That being said, I'll be quite surprised if the "someone" is anyone other than Widmore or someone connect to Widmore. However, it would be quite cool if it turns out to be the psychic from "Raised by Another."
Yes, I can picture him now in his study filled with leather bound books, wearing a smoking jacket hatching his machiavellian scheme.
What does a character-centric episode mean anymore anyway, now that they're not doing flashbacks, as in past seasons? "The Lie" was supposedly a Hurley-centric episode, but Hurley barely got any more screen time than the other characters.
I don't know very many people that are any longer. I lost interest in Kate-centric episodes in Season 2 and lost interest in her character altogether shorty thereafter. Honestly, her character could die and I wouldn't bat an eye. Juliet or Sun are far more compelling characters now. That being said, it'd be nice if there was at least 1 other strong female character on the show that could take Kate's place. (Though obviously I haven't decieved myself into believing she's going to bite it before - or even likely after - the finale.)
Brian K Vaughan episodes are normally pretty good - the trailers look quite intriguing - I too suspect the hand of Sun in the Aaron story - surely Ben's involevement is too obvious?
That would be cool. Maybe Kate's the one he foresaw and being such a bad parent he insisted Clare raise the child herself.
Average. It was a good episode, but it's still average. There was lots of good stuff, but no real surprises. Ben hiring the lawyer to get Aaron was a surprise, but that was it. As for young Danielle meeting Jin, I was spoiled on that weeks ago and was just waiting for it to happen. Also, it looks like you folks might be right about Miles. Spoiler: Miles It looks like he's Marvin Candle's kid.
Two other things I liked... - I liked the segue from Sun getting out of the car with the gun to Jin on the beach. - Those little ketchup bottles are neat.
Could we have the miles Spoiler: about miles being Candle's kid in spoilers? I didn't even think of that. I loved this episode!
