I like that House's character is actually exhibiting change. When he went to talk to the Dad, apologized, and came off like he felt bad, I was rather impressed. Haven't seen that in awhile.
Hard to explain, but the lighting, look, and feel of the episode -the overal cinematogrpahy- just felt "off" from most other episodes. It's a certainly "quality" of it that just doesn't jibe with me. Anyway: Average. Again, too much Forman (and this episode Chase) and not enough of House puzzle-solving. And not nearly enough Wilson or Cuddy. The sooner we end this Chase storyline and get House back in chage of the department the better.
I feel like we're getting a lot of pieces being put onto the board, and this montage gave this episode more of a midseason finale feel than an episode #5 of the season feel. I want Andre Braugher back, and sooner rather than later.
IMDB has him only credited for two episodes (Broken and Epic Fail which, I guess, is technically three episodes.)
One thing this episode proved to me was that House/Wilson is still the best "couple" on this show and always will be. Cuddy can stay, too. I like her. Foreman and Thirteen have got to go.
so, who really cancled the flight on 13? Interesting medical problem, some serious love for his kid there did House sell short?
House canceled the flight. Wilson didn't know beforehand, but went along with Thirteen's accusation to help House out. I was kind of expecting House to give the money from his insider trading to the father.
I like it and think it's funny. I love calling her Thirteen. It's better than "Hadley" (as it's common, it seems, to address these characters by their last names) or even "Remmy."
When they call each other by their first names, it actually throws me off. I did kind of a double take when Cameron called Chase "Robert."
Hell, Wilson is House's best friend and he addresses him by his last name! I guess it helps that all of these character have (with the exlcusion of Thirteen) names that "work well" as first names, or names of address. I know my last name wouldn't work as a name to call me by.
So whats the deal with pretty much going back to the original cast? I know Harold killed himself last season but they could have just stuck 1 new character in his place or leave the spot empty...
