The wheel sucks. Unless everybody racing has one, it is at a huge disadvantage compared to the others playing.
Wii Fit is why I bought my second Wii. So I brought it home and fired it up and I was pretty into it, faithful about using it regularily and so on. But after a couple of weeks, my body began to ache in places and ways that I'd never felt before. It was WAY harder on my body than when I work out at the local health club. Shortly thereafter I got rid of my Wii Plus followed by the second Wii.
If you are looking for kid-friendly or family-oriented games, there are a huge selection of games to pick from in the Wii catalog. I don't really fall into either of those categories, and I have found that there is a only a limited selection available for hardcore, mature gamers. But I still have enough games to keep me busy, so I'm happy with the purchase. I own- Super Mario Galaxy The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess Metroid Prime Trilogy Resident Evil 4 (Wii edition) Okami (Wii edition) Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 New Super Mario Bros. Wii Wii Sports & Wii Sports Resort But I'd also recommend- Guitar Hero 5 The Beatles: Rock Band DJ Hero Zack & Wiki Little King's Story Boom Blox Bash Party Punch-Out!! Super Paper Mario No More Heroes Dead Space Extraction Mario Kart Wii de Blob MadWorld EA Sports Active Wii Fit Plus Muramasa: The Demon Blade LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Trauma Center: Second Opinion A Boy And His Blob (remake) And you can get some great downloadable WiiWare games- World Of Goo LostWinds LostWinds: Winter Of The Melodias Bomberman Blast Swords & Soldiers Mega Man 9 Contra ReBirth NyxQuest Bit.Trip games Art Style games On top of that you can get old NES, SNES, Genesis, TG-16, Sega Master System games on the Virtual Console. And there is some cool stuff coming up- Super Mario Galaxy 2 Sin & Punishment 2 Red Steel 2 the new Zelda the new Metroid So, yeah, definitely some good games out there.
Well, after months of sitting in my basement, my lovely Wii has been been brought into our living room. It feels a little strange to be playing it again, but I'm sure I'll get back into the swing of it pretty soon. Sadly, I only have three games for it. Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Wii Sports and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. Wii Sports is great for the entire family, Super Smash Bros. is a hit with kids and teenagers and Fire Emblem is geared more toward the hardcore RPG gamer. All of them are fun in their own way. Like others have said, there is a solid library of games out there, so it won't be hard to find something that will satisfy everybody's tastes.
