Similar amount of Doctor screentime, massively different quality.

Love, love, love that one, especially for G'Kar and the guest character. It's also got a wonderful example of non-verbal acting that says volumes.

"A Late Delivery From Avalon" is one of those underrated episodes, as far as I'm concerned. That is due in major part to Michael York's fine performance in a role that evokes great pathos. Several times.

The episode also has some fascinating music that stands apart from the rest of the series.

I may have mentioned this before and if so I apologize. I've got a Director's Cut tape for 'Avalon' that is unusual in that it even has music in some of the shots. Even stranger is that the music in some places is *completely different* from what showed up on the episode.

Huh... I guess that's somewhat similar to some of the scripts we got in the books. Documents that in many cases turn out markedly different from what ended up on-screen.

To make this thread even more off topic, after I finsihed Babylon 5, I watched The 4400 up to season 3, Battlestar Glactica up to season 2, and now I'm on Stargate SG-1.

These are my sci-fi watchings for the last few years:

    1) Star Trek: TNG
    2) Star Trek: DS9
    3) Star Trek: VOY
    4) Star Trek: ENT
    5) Babylon 5
    6) Crusade
    7) The 4400 (Seasons 1-3)
8 Battlestar Galactica (Miniseries, Seasons 1-2)
    9) Stargate SG-1 (I'm currently in the middle of season 4)

Shows on DVD that I'll be watching in the future:

    1) The rest of Stargate SG-1
    2) Stargate Atlantis
    3) The 4400 (Season 4)
    4) Battlestar Galactica (Season 3)
    5) Star Trek: TOS (re-mastered)
    6) Farscape
    7) The Dead Zone
    8 Heroes

If you have any additional shows you think I should watch, let me know :)

^^ Exactly. The script books gives a lot of insight into the intricacies of making the show and my collection of other stuff really shows how much attention to detail people paid.

BTW, I'm not sure I mentioned it but Volume 12 of the Script Books is now on sale although they don't expect to ship until the 18th due to JMS finding some archive items from the Art Department dating back to 'The Gathering' so all of the pre-production they'd done had to be re-done. The debut discount is lasting until they ship also.

"So how did you find out about all this?"
"I'm a telepath. Work it out."
    - Sheridan & Bester, 'Ship of Tears'

I'm really startin' to like Walter Koenig on this show.

And there is soooooo much more to see with his character.

Honestly, he is one of the best villains I have seen on TV lo these many seasons. Multi-dimensional, capable, and more than some cardboard foil for the heroes in the series.

Where we've talked about Who, SG-1, SGA, Dark Angel, Eureka, Torchwood, and other non-B5 shows.

    :p

Yeah, ya should - the first season box set is still twenty bucks at Target, twenty-three at Circuit City & twenty-five at Best Buy. And there's a money back guarantee if ya don't like it, ya can just send it back to the studio with the receipt.

I picked up the first season the other night for $1.44 (thanks to a Circuit City gift card), and I'll be watchin' it this weekend, once I finish Babylon 5's third season.

    Dead Like Me.

And Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel/Firefly. The last at the least, but the first two are well worth giving a shot also. They're not to everyone's tastes, but they'll probably surprise you.

IS DAT SUM JEFFREY COMBS/WEYOUN? :P

Was this just the episode were the decisions he made regarding the riot act catch up to him? It seemed like it, but is that the end of it, or are there still people gunning for him? It was a good episode I thought, and I hope they . Earth seems to be in a pretty bad way, or at least the rest of the Earth Alliance and we haven't really seen that much. I hope they expand on the Mars terrorist attacks, since it all seems to be building up to something, maybe the season finale? I don't know.

Good little side plot with the Minbari dude and Garybaldi, though it was a little weird they were driving it so fast without a helmet :o.

    Legacies

A bit boring, but interesting because we got to see more of the Minbari society. Got to see the Warrior caste which was good to see, because I expected the Minbari to be a lot more hostile towards humans after a bloody war, especially since the only reason they lost it seems is because the religious caste issued the surrender order. It's a shame they didn't expand on how the war started, other than some guy called Dukat (:o) died.

Wow...gotta say I was expecting more of a reaction to Severed Dreams than what we got here.

Seems us 'old' fans are more enthusiastic than the new.

Best episode of any scifi show EVER as far as I am concerned.

Just finished 'War Without End, Part Two'...

...I KNEW that was Delenn talkin' to Sinclair! Go me!

...and what the fuck was that thing on Emperor Mollari's shoulder?

I'm guessin' it's Shadow-related, and I think I may have seen the episode where Londo finds out Vir has one, years & years ago.
