I'm not even sure where these are from, but I thought I'd share them just for the randomness of it all!

    Those are all fantastic!
Love how Shatner-Kirk has moved in on Pine-Kirk's action with nu-Uhura. And she's liking it.

I'm impressed, even if CGI was used to some degree or otherwise (not saying it was, by the way, either).

Where do the 12" Enterprise trio come from? I think I missed those.

The Matt Smith Doctor Who figure is from Big Chief, but that Tom Baker almost looks like the prototype Product Enterprise had designed years ago but never made it to mass production. (I just received the Big Chief Tom Baker doll yesterday and that version has the "serious" face we saw in the first 6 years of his opening credits.)

    Sincerely,

    Bill

    I like Spock's Mini-Me. :rommie:

Is that John Steed behind Matt?

I love Spock talking to Bilbo. That's a meta joke if ever I did see one. :)

    Hey, not bad, Therin!
Who performed the music? Sounds just a touch like Larry Fast to me...

I used to have the TAS theme music playing, which could be twinned as a little Youtube inset video, essentially poaching the music from whatever others have uploaded, but you can't download those to one's hard drive, so I changed the soundtrack to a free "Creative Commons" track offered by the PhotoPeach facility. The only credit that comes up for this piece reads: "Music: THE PLANETS: JUPITER: THE BRINGER OF JOLLITY by Gustav Holst; Classical Music Sound Library."

I love this action poseof my custom Arex figure:

    Hey, what gives? :wtf:

I just noticed that the artwork of the characters on the old Mego action figure pack has a strange omission...

Capt. Kirk, Dr. McCoy (Bones), Mr. Spock, Lt. Uhura, and Klingon all have the 'tm' noted. Why doesn't Mr. Scott (Scottie) have one?

Perhaps the name wasn't deemed original or distinctive enough to be a trademark.

Maybe. But on the other hand, if the Captain's name happened to be "Mr. Scott (Scottie)", I'm sure it wouldn't have not included the 'tm'.

But then it would have been "Captain Scott (Scottie)," which would be somewhat more distinctive. ;)

Speaking of which, did you know that Captain Scott of the Antarctic, early in his naval career, served aboard the HMS Vulcan? :vulcan: I didn't, till a minute ago.

Or a Robert Heinlein novel... after the "brain bubble" that is.

    Hmmm...that's a good point, BoredSantaClaus!

Looking closer, I notice that these caricatures have a pretty strong Mort Drucker vibe, like they were clipped from Mad Magazine!
