    This didn't just happen.

"You people" have been stacking the cloud in her favour for some time.

This feels like when Bush stole that election a few years back, or are we to believe that nothing but Janeway is on the lips of the thousands of members who post here daily?

As some of you may know the tags "Babe of the Week" and "Genre Babe of the Week" were removed from the tag cloud following a lengthy discussion about these threads in TNZ. Their removal created a vacuum.. a BABE vacuum. And who better to fill it than Janeway?

When you start a thread, you're given the option of "tagging" the thread with "words" which describe the threads relevance which are known as "tags".

On the frontpage to this website, our frontpage, if you scroll down, there's a "Tag Cloud" ...A list of the most popular tags attached to all the threads on this BBS... The larger the word/tag in the Tag Cloud... The more often that that word/tag has been attached to threads.

    Babe Vacuum?

    Hilarious. :)

Since the Naked Now, Data has liked to correct people by alerting them that they should have said blown when they have mistakenly said sucked.

    Country and Western.

    the Blues brothers.

I've seen that movie at least 200 times.

Endlessly quotable, one of those perfect movies.

Any time I watch Ghostbusters all I can think is how much better it would be with Belushi.

I thought they modelled the ghost "Slimer" after his likeness as a tribute?

    Very Bluto.

I mean if they had to chose form the SNL originals, they could have done worse...

Of course Gilda Radnar was as comprehensively talented as Lorraine Newman was unquestionably stunning.

Actually, the only way to go worse would have been Chevey, and that's just becuase he used a different sort of comedy that his movies never seemed to find.

Yep Chevy was much better in SNL than in his movies which always tried a lot harder.

I had completely forgotten about Lorraine until you mentioned her.

Remember Belushi doing back flips? How the hell did he do those with his extra weight. He was an energy ball.

    OH YES YOU DID!

    :alienblush:

What rates in a "tag cloud".

Number of times it was used to tag a thread?

Number of views said tagged thread can boast?

If the latter, then maybe the Janeway "haters" can be thanked for keeping such threads "alive".

    ;)

Or maybe its all just a function of the HUMUNGOUS number of views one thread (sexy 1.0) obtained.

I thought it was only what was tagged, not views, but that's just assumption on my part. I'm assuming it's only front page stuff that is counted too otherwise there would be some massive word from years gone by that no one talks about any more. But again, assumption.

It would have to include views .

Genre Babe of the Week used to make John Hancock feel insecure.

You're right. I always wondered how a weekly thread managed to almost burst the box. I thought it was cumulative over the years perhaps.

I keep reading about TNZ, but I can't find it. Is that a chat lounge that requires a pretty high rank?

Click your name, then "group membership" which on the right hand side of your profile page. There is an opt in thingie for TNZ. Used to require a certain amount of posts but now it just requires being able to find it :D
