Less biased in some ways than the Oscars.....more biased in others. It's an annual labor of love. The 98th is not a fluke; there are noms and winners for every year from 1915. Winners and nominees for those years are available upon request. Most categories have ten contenders each this year. Any category may tie EXCEPT Best Picture. The winners will revealed no earlier than January 17 depending on how much fun or debate we are having. Posters are encouraged to predict or choose your own results from this list. As you'll quickly notice, the Ronalds are partial to thrillers.

It's also possible we could whittle down the losers ''Ten Little Indians'' style on a daily basis to heighten suspense and maximize tastiness.

Lincoln is not nominated for Best Picture?

Prometheus is on the wrong list. You meant Worst Picture, I'm sure, where it will handily beat Total Recall, and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer will beat both, combined.

Who did these nominations, Ronald McDonald?

Pingfah, your wish will gradually be granted, but most likely one year at a time. Do you wish to travel forward from 1915 or back from 2011? For faster results, the winners for each year could be revealed in key categories. The point being, there are several different ways to do this. Especially after the 2012 winners are revealed.

LINCOLN was the 11th best picture seen by me last year. The only category allowed to go above ten nominees is Best Musical Score.

Tonight I believe I'll reduce all the 2012 ten-counts by one, so Best Actor and Actress are safe for two rounds....

And here are the noms and wins for 1915 below. I only wish it were humanly possible to do them all at once. With luck we'll take down one year per day.

(One other important role for the actors: You can win if you're not heard. You can win if you're not seen. But if you're not either, you're ineligible, David Prowse.)

(checks) The Cabin in the Woods is on the BEST Picture list, therefore it's on the right list.

Prometheus, however, should be on the worst movies list. And definitely could win the "Biggest disappointment" award.

I just hoped you enjoyed it better then AVP: REQUIEM. Altogether, I'd name PROMETHEUS as the clear third-best of the seven in the franchise...and the finest by far of the last five.
