New Scifi Shows?

    Since the retirement of Star Trek, Stargate and Battlestar Galactica..even the early demise of Jericho, does anyone know if there are any planned TV Scifi's upcoming? I mean seriously there doesn't seem to be anything good on anymore.:confused:

    Since you mentioned Jericho, I assume you're not defining sci fi as "must have spaceships"? if so, you're in luck, sci fi (and fantasy, good luck figuring out the dividing line) is the big hot new thing. We've been tracking 2013-14 development in the sf/f forum here.

    Doctor Who
    Continuum


    Probable returning at some point

    Defiance looks interesting. It's post-apocalyptic--with aliens!

    There's still too little live action space opera. The only one I've noticed in development is Incursion, from Starz.

    Here's a roundup of a lot of the genre development on broadcast, which is being spurred by the success of Revolution. The CW in particular is practically turning itself into the SyFy Channel. They'll probably end up with more actual sci fi series. ;)
