It was just a joke; I didn't mean to offend you. But jeez, you're crazy. Feature film work and other stuff, in a notoriously demanding industry? Yikes!
That's funny, I didn't read Vektor's post as actually sounding offended, but I can see how that interpretation can be applied. It's so easy to misinterpret somebody's post, no wonder tempers flare all the time.
Congrats! Don't forget to raise some awareness for those projects once your work can be seen in their PR material.
No offense taken. It was a purely good natured response. By the way, nobody should expect those updates any earlier than late tomorrow night, possibly not until Monday evening. I've made announcements before about weekend postings and some people tend to assume that means Saturday morning. No, it means I am working through the weekend to complete the updates. Just FYI.
Well, fine then! Be that way! I'm glad to hear that you've found work in the industry. I can't think of anyone more deserving.
Go figure. Life is what happens when you're making other plans. I warned you I might not post updates until tomorrow night and that's exactly what's going to happen. In fact, if I don't get a couple of hassles out of my hair early tomorrow, it may be Tuesday. Just FYI.
Who cares if we have to wait?! If we have to wait, we'll wait! What, don'tcha have something else to do? I feel very excited for you, Vector. What is the name of this movie, and when is it expected to hit theaters? If it sounds good, I might want to see it.
Vektor, that is terrific news... congratulations on making the jump to the pros! Very much looking forward to seeing updates on my favorite non-canon starship, because you're right--she DOES deserve to be finished!
Aaaaaand... guess who had to go out of town on a 3 day business trip? From now on, when I say I'm going to post something new by a certain date, just freakin' ignore me.
Its all good! Go and do your thing, and have fun! It'll be worth the wait, though I don't suppose I'm speaking for the folks here who don't appreciate the virtue of patience. In which case, you'll have to post some of what you've been working on!
On the one hand the lack of activity in this thread makes me happy because it probably means Vektor is off working on some cool project and getting paid for it, but on the other hand I really miss the updates.
