Problem with Kerkythea

    Oh my god I'm trying to render something in Kerkythea and well the size of the ship (size of the ship not the file) is pretty big like 6km long and I don't see anything in KT. I open the file and all I get is a grey screen with no ship or anything.

    Rescale the ship in sketchup before exporting.

    The point is that you've probably made the ship itself that size; if you're not sure, check the box in the lower right corner when you're making a single line from one end of the ship to the other. I myself position the ship itself in the correct angle while in SketchUp, to avoid having to work within Kerkythea because it's revolving tool just sucks. When all else fails, there's a buttin in Kerkythea to go back to the last view you selected :)

    I agree with Sojourner. Kerkythea is the best renderer out there.

    For free that works easily with Sketchup, yes.

    Ya, that's what I meant. I only use free software :)
