Wow the mood up there appears to have really soured

Why is Locutus on the ground and why is a Spiderman stepping on his crotch?

Why is another spiderman crawling on the ground moving toward a severed arm?

Why is Harry threatening Guy Gardner? (and really everyone should threaten Guy Gardner)

Why has Hermione fallen onto Big Clint?

It looks like Legolas, Roy and at least one Logan are down for the count.

Why are Spider Hulk and Kilowog fighting?

Is it me or has Picard lost a hand?

The ponies look rather concerned by this unnerving turn of events....

I predict that this will end in some sort of apocalypse.

 

Amazon.com is currently selling the MTT Troop Transport for a shockingly low $78.62 although the sale is supposed to last just six hours and I'm not entirely sure just when the markdown began.

Also, Target stores are selling all basic Star Wars action figures for either $6.99 or $7.99 depending on which line you're interested in purchasing. Selection at most Targets this year seems to be pretty limited to leftovers from the Episode I 3-D blizzard almost eleven long months ago but some have gotten newer wave assortments including the Darth Malgus wave.

So My Hot Toys Avengers Captain America FINALLY arrived. Its a cool figure but I'm less impressed by it than the Rescue version. The costume color is kind of dark compared the the bold blue in the movie and seems to be a heavier fabric.

I know quite a few people have complained about the gun, and it is a considerable disappointment compared to the guns in the prior releases.

 

EPIC.

The finale is going to blow our minds, isn't it?


In toy acquisition news I picked up another red-bandana Kithaba Skiff Guard, Aayla Secura and 501st Legion Clone Trooper from the Vintage Collection at my local Toys "R" Us.

They were on sale 2-for-$16.99 so that was a pretty good deal.

 

I promise nothing, as I will probably let you all down.

 

Find a way to combine Darth Sidious with a Pony and we'll let you get away with anything.

 

Voldemort already took Sidious out. I do have something particular in mind, though. Don't worry.

 

Saw the TRU exclusive Millennium Falcon today. I never ceased to be impressed at the size of that big box....or how ultra cool that retro-'70s/'80s packaging design is. Looking at and holding it is like being five or six all over again.

It's so gorgeous it almost brings a tear to the eye, but for $249.99 it stops being gorgeous when I glance at the price sticker on the shelf.

 

Of course day 11 had to be all the Doctors! Love it!

 

The David Tennant Doctor figure kind of looks like Elvis Costello or Elton John.

But that's a good thing!

I cleaned it up last night. It took well over an hour to do so. At least all of my displays are intact again. I hated seeing how so many of them were gutted over the last couple of weeks.

 

Great conclusion, man! Thanks for all the hard work you've put into this project over the last twelve days! We all loved the pics and now they'll be immortal in the pages of this thread!

This is at a Toys "R" Us at some unspecified location in the country, but it appears the very first 2013 product has been stocked for late Christmas shoppers!

They're retailing for $27.99 each, which is way too high for two figures and a mini-rig vehicle if you ask me.
