This week's contest is about Mythological creatures, creatures of legend and folklore: dragons, fairies, trolls, leprechauns, unicorns, even Nessie and Bigfoot.

The Wolpertinger, Bavaria's national mythological animal

 

Mythology is everywhere and I did think about digging up something local and showing you all just how mad the Danes are... but you'd probably just make it into a cartoon for your kids like you did with the last part of our mythology you got your hands on...

I chose the most shy animal of the highlands to be the centre of attention in my entry: the illusive Haggis:

Great theme. So much to choose from....

 

I love them all...especially dragons...

I can already see this will be a hard contest to vote on...I hope there's a whole lot more entries, so we'll be able to choose a bunch...
