Superman costume to appear on SMALLVILLE after all

Almost sounds like this...

 

I always kind of assumed it would show up eventually.

Still, I've seen exactly two episodes in the show's entire run, and that's probably not going to change anytime soon.

The wording of this made me smile.

 

Perhaps Welling doesn't want to be opening supermarkets in his Superman costume when he's pushing 70?

 

Also, Welling is known for being very media-shy. For him to come to one of his first cons (if not his first) - and one of the biggest cons of the year - dressed in a Superman costume would be very unlikely.

 

Unlikely, yes, but it would provide a lot of buzz and certainly generate big ratings for the season premiere.

 

The episode will be a dream episode of a future where everyone wears the Superman costume... except for Welling.

 

I am not saying that it is out of the realm of possibility, nor that it might happen in the show. I would just be surprised to learn if he comes to the con wearing the costume.

Would that mean that Welling would be Bicycle Repair Man?

 

Its been known for a few weeks now that the premire episode of nine will be called Savior and yes Kelly did have an interview where she stated that we would see the sheild at some point this season. Since Clark "Killed" himself in the season eight finale its possible he will return as Superman like figure.

Seriously, Clark has died, or seemed to have died so often, if not in conjunction with season book ends it's not funny, that why Should anyone be so impressed right now by this one trick pony doing his one trick for the tenth time?

Now if Michael Rosenbaum showed up to a convention dressed as Superman, that would be noteworthy and funny as hell.

"Yeah, I like killed him, he cried like a little bitch, and then I stole his powers, and his clothes, y'know he actually still wore underwear under his over wear under wear, double bagging wierdo, but I'm not a show off, so um, yeah... HELLO SAN DIEGO!"

 

Well, I guess Welling is going to be at Comic-Con.

Could this potential rumor of the suit be real?

 

Tom Welling... has embraced his destiny.

... Almost.


Also the ksite report says he is now a co-producer.

 

And here I was hoping for a yellow leisure suit with purple polka dots.

 

Welling will be lucky to get a supermarket opening when he's 70.

 

Why so serious? Welling has probably made 100 times more money than Burt Ward ever made.

 

Wow...the Sunday Smallville presentation should be REALLY interesting then if Tom is showing up! I think this is like his first ever Comic Con or convention ever! Maybe they are planning on doing something with the suit?

 

Or it's just as possible that they may announce the rumors of a Smallville film were true.

Though I am more interested suddenly and think it may happen.

 

Unless Welling buys a home shaped like the Enterprise or a Zeppelin he's fine.

He'll be probably raking in syndication money for life. I don't know why, but him as co-producer seems funny.

 

I heard they'll be announcing a Smallville TV movie entitled Metropolis.
