Re: Khan in ST XII - Yes or No? That's so many revenge plots in Star Trek films than I could ever keep count. Khan wants revenge. Nero wants revenge. Ru'afau wants revenge. Picard wants revenge because of the Borg. Kirk wants revenge because the Klingons killed his son. Who have I missed? Do we really want to see ANOTHER revenge story? Star Trek provides more intriguing storytelling avenues than just revenge fantasies.
Re: Khan in ST XII - Yes or No? There's so many potential "new" stories out there. I'd hate the sequel to end up being just a rehash of an awesome episode and previous movie. Are they going to include the formal dinner scene? Will Khan and Kirk have another hand to hand fight, where somehow Kirk beats a man with ten times his strength? Who will they cast as McGivers? I'd prefer making a movie of one of the better novels than rehashing a great episode.

Re: Khan in ST XII - Yes or No? No, the reason why nuTrek branched off the prime universe is the notion that not everything in the prime will have to happen. I'd rather have more new material pumped into Trek.

Re: Khan in ST XII - Yes or No? No. My "no" makes it 21-0. I think Khan wouldn't fit, unless it's a Khan pre-Star Trek 2, and he CANNOT be the main villian in the movie.
Re: Khan in ST XII - Yes or No? No Khan. I could see if he's mentioned briefly in passing somewhere along with the Eugenics Wars, but I'd rather that the Botany Bay was never discovered by the Enterprise and the ship's fate remained a mystery forever...
