Yeah, Kirk just can't keep her out of the Earth's atmosphere.... Tell me what you all think. That's Madman's V6 JJprise mesh.
I don't see the Vesuvius in the background, so I think we can exclude "good pizza" from the reasons for the visit.
I didn't know JJ was remaking Tomorrow is Yesterday! I like it. You did a good job of fading the E to make it look like it's far off in the distance and not just pasted on top of the picture. You could even further enhance the illusion by having a tiny part of it behind one of the streetlights, it's a bit suspicious the way it's framed between them.
Cool... Enterprise never looked better. I agree with what -SS- said, but the picture is good like it is. It would be cool to add some people standing outside of their cars, looking up at the ship, though. -Ricky
I like it too. Only suggestion I'd make is to darken the shadows on the JJPrise to match the levels of the shadows on the buildings and other objects in the foreground. That would help the illusion of the ship really being "in" the shot. My two cents, your milage may very..... Nice job! Q2
I heartily disagree. My mileage varies wildly! The supposed size of this thing makes it so that in order to look that size in the image, it must presumably be fairly far off, so the atmospheric haze would certainly wash out the darks. The image is fine as it is. --Alex
Nicely done. Well blended into the background with no obvious cropping. If there is one thing that keeps it from feeling completely authentic, it is camera focus. The ship is just too sharp (in this photo) for how far away it's supposed to be. For example, note how clear the nacelle font is compared to the much closer Domino's sign or Bristol banner.
Thats a good point. I'm gonna attempt another render with the ship in the sky, and I'll definitely keep that in mind.
NAh, McCoy just wanted to stop by and pick up some Tennessee Whiskey for his Father's Southern Recipe Beans.
