I bought all the goods to make cake for my friends' anniversary today. I'm so glad they liked it. Slaved all day, I did.
Google suggests that these are they moulds used to create the patterns on them. Huh. Learn something new every day. Just a few groceries today. Greg Bear's The Forge of God and Stephen Baxter's Evolution. ETA: Oh, almost forgot: Umberto Eco's The Prague Cemetery.
[insert obligatory "But Scrubs ended at season eight..." joke here] (There actually are at least a few good things about the Scrubs: Med School season - Kerry Bishé, Michael Mosley, and Eliza Coupe, for example.)
I have been feeling nostalgic about Jim Henson lately, so I just bought Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal on blu ray. I'm looking forward to the special features.
^ hope you had fun. For some reason, I've been hankering for fast food these past couple of days. Must be the pink slime thread, making me hungry. Anyway, I bought a Whopper for lunch yesterday, and a Quarter-Pounder with Cheese today. I think I've satisfied the craving for now. At least, my heart is now whimpering quietly in a corner. That's the same thing, right?
Just purchased 7 cotton hipsters from Soma; they were having a sale. I may look like a horror show on the outside, but underneath it all, I have on pretty undies.
Food. And a couple Easter-ish things on sale for 70% off. I have to admit, the mental image of you sitting there in your elegant clothes, eating that crap, is quite disturbing.
