Really? I don't see that one at all, I do, however like the idea of Viola Davis in a Trek role though.

True. My mental casting while developing the series was Parminder Nagra.

^ Isn't she also Ensign Parminder in the A Time To... series?

^ Very astute. Put simply, I never tire of the classics. ;)

^ Nor do I. Personally I see her as a great choice for pretty much any role. :D

Well I suppose there are some she's not qualified for but I'm sure that people understand what I mean.

    Because she's British right :p

And just clicking on her IMDB profile, I was amazed to read that she's 34, I actually thought she was far younger.

I've managed to never see anything that she has appeared in. She is quite stunning, though. I approve.

I know David Mack had Tommy Lee Jones in mind, but I can't stop picturing Diego Reyes as Edward James Olmos, particularly when he was on the witness stand in Open Secrets.

While reading Full Circle I kept picturing Julia Paris as Susan Sullivan. She currently stars on Castle as the title character's mother.

I have compiled a FULL list of all the names in the order they appeared in the thread. It takes up 12 pages in table form at 12 point Times New Roman.

Rosalind. Do you want to post it at the start of a new thread?

^Hmm, I was hoping for something that ordered the characters by series, with casting suggestions in order of popularity, say (though maybe with the authors' own recommendations on top, or at least highlighted).

The authors' choices are asterisked in some cases where it is clear, and not where they're just suggested. If I email it to you, Christopher, you can just rearrange it. I've done the hard work.

I could shorten the list a little by only leaving the authors' choices. But then people would suggest the same people again and again.

Oh, this is going to take longer than I thought. Your list includes all the suggestions, even the ones that are blatantly inappropriate and rejected by the authors (wrong ethnicity, wildly wrong age or type, etc.). I'll have to go through the thread and weed those out.

I listed everything to be on the safe side. But yes, there are quite a few that can be deleted...I won't name the poster responsible for a fair few of them. It would be needlessly embarrassing and humiliating.

    Have fun
