Is it just me or does nobody seem to like Kira?

I like her just fine.

 

Kira is one of my favorite Star Trek characters.

 

It took a while for me to warm to Kira. The last convention I was able to go to (1995!) I was looking for a Jadzia "lifesize" cutout but they only had Kira cutouts left. So that stayed around my apartment for a few years and I got used to her. I usually hid these things in a room so you wouldn't see them unless you were looking in a mirror, and suddenly they were behind you. Can't understand why I have less friends after that.

 

I never really liked Kira. She got better as the series went along but the Odo relationship seemed forced and made me dislike her again.

 

I can hate on Keiko, but what did O'Brien do?!?!

I don't like Kai Winn AT ALL.

 

Well of course not. She's a lying, conniving, power-hungry loon. She was awesome as a villain though. Not up to the standards of Dukat, but still very vicious.

She's like the Professor Umbridge of DS9. You're supposed to want to kill her.

 

Yeah she's not exactly a loved character

 

She's in my top 10, I love how nuanced and narcissistic she is. Fantastic actor.

By "loved" I think the question means "you would like this person to be your parent, sibling, lover, friend".

 

Seven Of Nine, and it's not even close.

Boring, bland character, catsuits and hairdo that for me undid the obvious "sexualisation" they were going for with the character.

If they had put her in a starfleet uniform with her hair down and allowed just a modicum of personality, then maybe it would have worked, but the character just failed on every level for me yet still became a pop culture icon that transcended Trek.
