What is your favourite Star Trek Bridge? Despite being a huge TNG fan & the Galaxy being my favourite ship, I have gone for the Enterprise A bridge from "The Undiscovered Country". Darker looking version of the original, looks great!!!
U.S.S. Vengeance from Star Trek Into Darkness. It is pretty slick looking. But I still prefer the TOS and TNG series bridges. Probably more for sentimental reasons than anything else, but when I see them I feel like I'm home.
No wonder I didn't recognize it. I haven't seen the movie yet. I will be picking up the DVD in a few weeks!!
And here I thought I was bad for just now getting around to seeing the movie at the dollar theater. Thanks! I feel redeemed.
My pleasure! I don't care for movie theaters and would rather watch a movie in the comfort of my home in my home theater.
I dunno, I always liked DS9's command center a lot. It just felt more real and professional, without a big lazy boy chair for the captain to lounge in.
I like the Enterprise-E bridge as it appeared in First Contact. It had a holographic viewscreen floating at the front of the bridge and (to me) feels comfortable.
I'm going with the Enterprise-E bridge. And since it's been ten years since Nemesis. I'd go with some upgrades. A return to the one-piece helm-ops/helm-navigation console. And it definitely needs new seats.
I like the Sovereign class alot, the lay-out makes sense. The Defiant is awesome, but then again, the whole ship is. STVI bridge is indeed very cool. And I have to agree, the bridge of the Vengeance is awesome, but there is more to that ship that I kinda like really.
Those Klingon bridges look like shit. Dark, no chairs for most people. I'll take the Columbia because it has Erika Hernandez on it and fantastically awesome disco lights.
^Those lights on the Columbia would be more difficult to work around than the constantspotlightsinyourface! of JJ's Enterprise bridge.
