Sadly, the final 13 episodes of Futurama will begin airing June 19th and wrap up on September 4th with...

    Fry and Leela getting married.

I only started watching after it was canceled the first time and really grew to love it. I actually like it much better than the Simpsons. I really hope they can find somewhere else to air new episodes. Netflix perhaps?

Bummer, though we were definitely lucky to see it revived. Not too many shows come back from cancellation.

I don't know if it's already been made, but I'd love it if the final episode could be an hour long.

Not surprising that the ratings have fallen. There have been some good ones in the Comedy Central run, but on the average it hasn't been as good as the original series. Better for the show to go out while it still has some quality in it rather than limping along tiredly well after it should've ended, like The Simpsons keeps doing.

I bet some fan out there is alread planning to make a YouTube video based on this...

And RoJoHen, since this was actually one production season that's been split over two broadcast years, the finale was surely made quite some time ago.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of the show. Even if it doesn't always evoke outright laughter from me it always brings a smile to my face.

I'm really only able to watch the new episodes when the seasons are released on Netflix, and I've been loving the last few seasons. This show, I feel, is best viewed in binge marathon form.

The only new Futurama I've got to see is a 9 episode marathon of season 5 I watched on a plane while very sleepy. My vague memories are good, though. I must get around to ordering the DVDs.

Yes, I watched many seasons in marathon form and it was a highly enjoyable experience.

They kind of earned their re-cancellation. The show was simply better during its run on Fox. Great show in its prime though.

I agree. The show was starting to spin its wheels a bit. Better to end on a high note.

I liked Futurama, but I haven't seen one single frame of the show since Bender's Big Score, which I thought was terrible.

I didn't like it the first time either. I recently watched it again a couple months ago, and I was surprised how much I actually enjoyed it.

Big Score was the only one of the movies that worked for me.

Never seemed like the same show when it came back on Comedy Central. But those first four seasons were magic.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
It was funny when they killed Hitler.

I guess they didn't have enough giant fans.

The disgusting thing about the Futurama Movies if you hadn't noticed, because syndication is beneath you, is that all the movies were sliced into quarters and rebranded as 4 episodes each to a virtual season that quite frankly never existed.

    Not me, though.

This pretty much sums it up for me. I'm thrilled the show came back from cancellation and it's been a great second (or third, if you count the movies) run but it's better for the show to bow out gracefully. I will surely miss it but we got a lot of episodes to rewatch for years to come.

I think it's finally time for the live action Futurama movie.
