I have nothing to say I just wanted to be the one to post the 1,000 post. . Now the thread can be locked. Mods?
Unless you count differently over in the states, you're post was 1,001 and I had the privilege of the one thousandth post in this uber topic
Does anyone know if they still have a store search option on the Borders website? Destiny is on the site, but I couldn't find anywhere to do a store search.
It's on the "front page" of there homepage in the top right hand corner underneath welcome sign in customer care entitled STORE LOCATOR
Yeah, but it doesn't have an inventory search, which is what I was looking for. I realize I probably should have been more clear, I apologize.
No worries But would they even have that type of information on there website. What you could do is pick up the old dog and bone and ask a sales person in store, or go to your closest Borders and ask.
^^^^Given the original wording of the request by JD that is what I thought he or she wanted and I assisted to the best of my abilities. Now if he or she had said what they had said in the response to my assistance, I would have originally told him/her to pick up a phone and ask in store as I'm sure individual stock is not found on the web, just a generic list of inventory that would be available across the companies outlets.
Borders used to have a website bordersstores.com where you were able to check availability at a local store online. It seems that it is now gone since their split from Amazon.
That's lame that that feature is gone. There are 3 Borders within walking distance of my work that it was nice to find out if something specific I was looking for was at one of the stores. I was hoping it was still there, just buried.
The feature is still there. When you pull up a page for a specific item, you should see a box to the right of the description with three buttons, and below them, a box to enter your zip code. Fill that, click "go", then scroll down the resulting page.
"Twinky Towns". How adorable. No, the next month's new Trek mm shows up almost like clockwork on the weekend after the 20th of the month; I don't even have to check anymore. Of course, I already read Destiny in manuscript form months ago.
Well, you don't want to know what people have called Duluth in the past. Around here, the books also show up like clockwork. On the last Wednesday of the month. So, screw them, I said, and ordered it from Amazon. After reading the reviews and comments, I can't wait. DES
