I'm sorry if this is old hat but I haven't seen it anywhere. Please delete this if everyone knows this already. Is that something they do often, or have they just plucked those episodes out of the air? Just a tiny bit random! Out of those, I would quite like to see Where No One Has Gone Before, as that was a great example of early TNG awe done right.
My reaction to the selected eps is UGH. Best of Both Worlds would have been an infinitely better choice even if we had to wait for it to be remastered. I've always wondered what it would be like to see the destroyed fleet on the big screen.
I for one am just glad that I get to see some non-reboot trek in theaters again. I was born in 86 so I wasn't old enough to really enjoy TNG when it came out in 87. Generations came out when I was 8 and the golden standard First Contact came out when I was 10.
I'd like to go, but the closest theater is three hours away. For two mediocre 20-year old episodes, it's just not worth the drive and expense.
As luck would have it, there is a showing right in the theater I go to most, in the next town over from me. Am I going to pay the normal rate of roughly $12/person to see THOSE two episodes? Think again! LoL
