    Ok, Judy.
Tried to invite you, but I got an error message cause you already are in another fleet.
If you like to join the TrekBBS Armada, you'd need to leave that fleet first.

Unfortunately we didn't win the tournament with the one team we had in the running, but we didn't completly suck either. we scored 2:2. And it was fun, had an unbeatable setup against one team and got wasted with the same set up by the next.
This game really is rock paper scissors.

A bit of background so you understand my joke. :)

I set up a fleet with the intention of running endgame content. I made myself Supreme Leader... stocked the bank with Nice Things and recruited some members.

One member befriended me... I granted said member a high rank.

Well as things went forward it became obvious that no one wanted to play Endgame content they all wanted to sit around and PVP power-game. We're talking the kind of people who dedicate spreadsheets to calculating out the MAXIMUM DPS you can get in a single shot. THOSE sorts.

When I mentioned that Changes Were Impending... my high-rank friend locked me out of my own fleet. I suspect this was his/her/its intention all along.

He forgot about my alt. MUAHAHAHA

I had an alt specifically set up as a co-leader... one that I never used. One that he/she/it apparently overlooked.

Logged on under than name... carted EVERYTHING out of the bank and donated it to Starfleet Training Core. That's the other fleet I'm a member of. :)

Got a series of nasty mails from He/She/It about the bank raid... but in the end it was MY fleet... MY crafting efforts and ultimately MY stuff in the bank.

I have two characters that can craft. Also my lover is always gifting me C-store points... so in reality I have no need to raid banks for loot.

Long story short I am hoping HOPING that this fleet is as drama-free as Starfleet Training Core is... I just want to phaserfuck Borg and lipra-bugger Cardassians that's all.

No worries. You won't find a more casual fleet. The only thing we lack some times is a bit more activity.
Bank raids are nearly impossible. Every high ranking fleet officer is a TrekBBS veteran.
Even normal officers have a bit of restriction to their bank access to prevent incidents like described.
If someone needs more stuff than he has access to by himself he can always ask and we arrange that.
At the moment the stuff in the bank isn't even that valuable anyway. It's cool stuff meant to help leveling but will probably never be devoted to min-maxing endgame characters.

See you in-game shortly. The frying-pan full of BACON takes priority over The Game right now.

Oh so that's why Tyler (or Kenny since I recently changed the name from that) got booted.

So can someone tell me why one of my other alts aparently inherrited the officer promotion because that was really convenient.

Still, I do wonder why my other alt got bumped up to officer when that one wasn't even online at the time. It was kind of strange, but a real time saver.

    Judy,

Doesn't matter what rank your alt toon holds. If your primary toon is booted from the fleet, your alt toon will be automatically promoted to leader/owner.

That makes it a little easier to hide an alt toon within the fleet. Just mix it in with the crowd at the bottom.

Does the fleet have a voice chat setup?

As I said, difficult to keep track... could have also been a simple mis-click.

I might revise the current officer structure soon anyway after talking with Aelius about it.
Since fleet activities have died down a bit, I would like to give the officer rank to members who can contribute a bit to organizing events and stuff....
I work full time and can't do that all by myself sadly without compromising my own playtime...

So we might see some changes there soon.

    Not as such.
Some of us use steam for that and ever since we got Vivox in game I dont see the need anymore to "force" people into using a specific software.
Besides only a few of us actually own a microfone it seems.
