Yep, they say there will be 100,000 new cases of swine flu A DAY in August. You have to listen to the media hype through! They will never lie to you for ratings!

A couple of my mom's students had swine flu, too. Do I care? No, because they recovered just fine.

And just for the record, a regular flu is more likely to kill you than swine flu. The media hype is just ridiculous, swine flu is really not a big deal, a lot of people have it, most of them will recover completely.

It might not be a dangerous thing.. but it does sound more icky than ordinary flu.

Swine Flu is the new Avian Flu. All media hype, little actual damage. IIRC, more people die in a month from the regular flu than the swine flu has killed in total. So the only thing to even remotely worrry about is a resurgence in 3-4 months that may or may not happen and might but probably not kill even more people.

The normal Flu kills more at this rate so nothing to wrry about really anyone who has died in the UK all 2 of them (or 3) had underlying conditions before they had the Flu...

Am sure at Hogwarts someone has made a cure :p

I believe the number stands at 4 in the UK so far. 383 worldwide. Not that high but that doesn't there isn't a risk. No doubt the news has been overblown but new strains of flu are something to be cautious over.

i think that's more of a mental condition than anything contagious. although, one can also debate if mental condition is contagious. :)
