I loved the 1st two films in the series. Since then, I haven't liked any of them at all and didn't even bother to watch the last couple of them. I have small hope they can get back on track after so long, but anything is possible. I am glad they didn't go for the reboot treatment. There is really no point in a series like this, the continuity is at a minimum anyway.
Apparently Doug Bradley turned down the role himself after reading the script. One assumes he read the script for the last 5 Hellraiser movies too, so that probably means this one is on a whole new level of terrible that even the last 5 movies could not aspire to
