Part 2 and 3 were great reads, loving the level of detail. I'm intrigued they actually had to recreate the transporter elements! And that they shot some new practical elements is pretty nifty too.

I've been enjoying the interview, but how many parts are there, if you don't mind me asking?

I love this, so a huge thanks here.

It actually makes me really wish that cineflix would devote an issue to this project, but of course that will never happen. Heck the show only got one issue and that was I believe for its first season.

I know that magazine focuses on FX, I think its close enough. And they truly go in depth over issues.

Can I just say I loved the replicators...

Wasn't the replicators story cool??! :)

Wonderful, really glad that everyone is enjoying reading it - I tried to ask every nagging question that I've seen floating around the internet, so hopefully fans are left with hardly any unanswered questions after it's finished. :)

Really excellent and in-depth interview so far. I've enjoyed reading these.

I particularly like seeing the separate layers used for the effects shots. One little mistake, though, you refer to the blue-screen keying as 'rotoscoping' a couple of times. It's not rotoscoping.

Looking forward to the final part. Good work. :)

Thanks Start Wreck! I've fixed up that terminology mix-up.

And really glad you're enjoying them! Part 5 is probably my favorite, some really great stuff in there :)

I'm liking these, too. I'm looking forward to seeing what there is about the 4 ft vs the 6 ft models.

Ha, don't get too excited about that one, that particular part is more comedic than anything else!

This makes me so happy. If there's anyone I want bringing Trek back to TV, it's Seth and I'd love to see how he interacts with prior Trek vets to come up with stories.

And yes, I am completely serious.

Great stuff. I was particularly pleased to hear how much weight fan reaction has been given. It makes me very hopeful for a DS9 Blu-Ray release!

Isolated score tracks would be bitchin but it's already too late for season one, likely season two, maybe even season three... and those are the ones I'd want to hear.

That starbase shot breakdown is incredible! :) I really enjoyed all the images that went with this.

Excellent interview, very in-depth and fascinating answers, and really helps to appreciate all the work that is going into this project, and how much we take for granted! Good job.

Wasn't there supposed to be some big special feature reveal, or is that in an upcoming article? Or did I miss it?

Glad you enjoyed it! The Starbase 74 breakdown amazed me when I saw just how much went into it.

As for the special feature I mentioned, things are strongly hinted in this interview and the second interview which will be coming out soon, but if you want explicit details... wait for the press release!
