49ers looked pretty good today. The defense was a little shaky, but they were playing the Packers and it was a battle of 2 evenly matched teams. Now I can't wait till next Sunday Night. Seattle and SF renew what is turning into a great rivalry and it will be fun. I do however think the Niners are going to lose, since the game is in Seattle, but I hope I'm wrong.

You never know. Seattle wasn't particularly impressive today, so I'm willing to get my hopes up even if I suspect you are right.

Crazy. Cowboys had 14 take aways all of last season and pull out 6 last night. It's nice to be on the other side of that situation for once.

The Rams score 13 unanswered points in the 4th quarter to pull out a win against Arizona.

The Cardinals sure look better with Palmer at QB.

They sure do. Don't you know that Larry Fitzgerald is happy to actually have someone delivering him the football.

Seattle is so much better at home than on the Road though. That home field advantage for them is pretty insane.

And yet they just won on the road as well.

That was an ugly game- both teams looked like they were trying their damnest to give away the win.

I wish the Packers could have finally won against the Niners, but once again they came up short. At least it was close. Wasn't too impressed with Lacey's debut at RB.

In a game that they should have won by more points. Carolina almost pulled it out.

Disappointed we didn't get the win in Indy, but the Raiders appear to have finally found a quarterback who can make plays and even more surprising, a defensive front that can pressure the quarterback.

Just remember that, with the notable exception of the 2008 Detroit Lions, no team is truly as good or as bad as they really are in Week 1.

I think most people will give them a pass with them going all the way to the east coast on week 1 to play a one o'clock game. The defense is still stifling and Newton wasn't able to move the ball much. Wilson was highly efficient they just didn't crack the endzone as much. Much ado about nothing.

Heck if it wasn't for a rookie mistake of taking a sack on the goal-line drive at the end, the Raiders might have won that game. (He's actually lucky he didn't get an intentional grounding call to lose a down, too).

He'll learn and get better. The future looks bright, based on that game.

As well he should be. That did not look like the team we beat twice last year.

Seriously, that's like a CFL formation. Chip Kelly is a madman.

I also love DeAngelo Hall being all "uh, c'mon guys, a little help here?"

    That's crazy.

I haven't seen any of that game.

Are they running that formation a lot, or was that a gimmick?

Tonight we've secretly replaced the Washington Redskins with a bunch of blind amputees with one leg and a bad case of the runs. Let's see if the Philadelphia Eagles and the DC crowd notice.
