Really getting sick of Karen the villain, just seems like a cheap way the producers don't have to use the fish heads. LOL

She was accompanied by a Skitter. Isn't that enough?

I liked the Twilight Zone-esque first act...

I kept thinking Tom needed to find Kirk to help him out in the first half.

Not a bad episode. Kind of nice to see things and people clean for a change, even if it was just a mind f*ck.

It would have been cool to see Pope in his old Airforce uniform from Stargate.

This is the kind of show where I just sit back and enjoy, but this was the weakest episode of the year to me. Not that I didn't like it. I liked seeing Tom in his natural environment and it's amusing seeing Weaver and Pope as strange bedfellows. But if Karen and the aliens are going to screw with Tom's mind, why make it so easy for him to see through it?

    Holy crap, man...

All this time and until you said this it didn't hit me that he was Major Davis.

Shows how much attention I'm actually paying...

Which didn't make any sense since Hal was part of the real mission that required the fake diversion plan that the mole reported back to the aliens.

Just shows how good an actor he is. Goes from mild mannered clean cut airforce guy to long hair ex-con biker warrior and you can barely tell it's him.:)

He definitely plays his characters so differently from each other. I believe there was a Star Trek (maybe?) and an Andromeda (I'm sure about this one) role both that took me forever to realize it was him, even though I knew that I recognized him from somewhere.

Colin is playing a womanising prick right now on Less Than Kind too.

Yeah, and why didn't they pursue him? I'm hoping it was all part of a larger plan, because otherwise, that entire episode was a bit of a waste of time.

    I guess we shall see.

Going back to your other post, wouldn't it be mind-blowing if Pope and his gang finally bailed on Charleston and in their wanderings encountered Major Davis leading a group of military Pentagon survivors?

(Yeah, I know. It's just the way my mind works sometimes...)

Yeah, he got away very easily. Although he seems to have ended up back in Boston, so he's got a long walk ahead of him.

According to Google it's 311 miles from Boston to Charleston. I did the math and if he walks 5 hours a day (he'd probably walk longer, but let's account for foraging for food, fighting bandits, hiding from aliens, rugged terrain, getting lost, etc...) it would take him just over 2 months to walk all that way.

    He better start hoofing it.

Nice way of hiding Moon Bloodstone's pregnancy by setting the "memory" in winter. Bulky winter clothes and having her only scene be sitting at a table was a nice idea.

Don't worry, Tom can travel at the speed of plot, just like the Enterprise.

    By the preview he does.

Her scenes were filmed three month before in a sound stage while his were filmed in a real after at the very end of filming. If was very well done.

For anyone who is interested in the filming of that scence, Greg Beeman postet on his blog how that was done exactly.

I love the security in Charleston when someone in a white boat with big white sails can just sail in largely undetected.
