Gut the control rooms, wire in Starfleet control panels and a life support system. You can use everything else as-is.

Maybe you have to wear one of those environmental suits when you fly it...

Nah, I would just let my crew burst into flames every 5 seconds I mean environmental suits are way to expensive for the whole crew.

One of my favorite things about the environment suits is how when I'm on Nukara and I trigger my Bajoran thingamagig that makes quantum duplicates, they're in suits too.

Although I hate that theirs are prettier than mine.

I'm loving the TNG 25th Anniversary promo. My (fed) klingon boffs can finally wear sashes and have a decent hairstyle!

I doubt Tholians use chairs, beds, toilettes or replicators, like humans do.
Still one helluva lot of work. So, why bother doing that when there are so many ships for humanoid use around?

Cool factor. Espionage. Cool factor. Testing. Did I mention it's cool?

I don't think Starfleet and KDF care about cool.
And espionage? Just use a Tholian dissenter or double agent. Much cheaper.

If you've played this game, you've DONE missions where the espionage role required looking like an enemy ship.

Yes, and since those enemy ships were built for humanoids it was never that much of a hassle.

Well I lucked out on TNG related stuff today. I got the season 1 uniform and Klingon sash, and after trying one of the new Tholian lock boxes just for a lark and got a subspace jump console which means I can do the Picard maneuver.

Now if only they would release the TNG season miniskirt uniform and the Ambassador-class, then Kenny would be all set up.

Went and got the TNG season 1 uniform as soon as I heard about it. Wish the sash could be done in different colors. Only the emblem can use different colors. Hope this means they'll release Worf's season 2-7 Sash to us Starfleet characters at some point.

I picked up the TNG season 1 uniform bits for all five of my Toons last nice. It's a really great uniform.

I also picked up the TNG season 1 uniform on all my toons. I decided to open the first Tholian lock box that I got and it contained a purple Tholian DOFF. :) The second one I opened contained a 20% Fleet Credit increase for up to 5000 Fleet Credits. Not too shabby on the first 2 boxes I opened.

I have opened one so far and got the FC increase also.
I must say that these latest boxes are the most sensible ones yet, since the rewards do not contain crap like one-usable combat pets or shield generators.
Also the TNG anniversary gift is a nice touch from Cryptic:bolian:

I was on really briefly last night before the maintenance, and also has quick lock box success. I didn't open any of the Ferengi ones, , but decided to try one of these for a lark.

Fleet members on the chat at the time know I got this:

Nicely done !! I must say, so far the rewards are much better than previous lock boxes. Almost makes you want to open more of them.

^IMO, the new boxes are actually worth spending money on this time. So far I've opened 7 boxes and received:

    1x purple Tholian doff
    2x 25,000 fleet credit bonus
    2x doff mini-packs
2x purple MK XII phased tetryon weapons
    ~50 lobi

    Not bad, I think.

Since these boxes do seem worth the effort, I'm thinking that I will use the dilithium earned by one of my toons to buy keys (after converting for zen on the dilithium exchange). I still using my other toons to save up for the Armitage. After that's purchased, it's maintenance - additional DOFF slots and bank slots, not to mention the other purple DOFF's I'm missing from Lt. Fera.

On that note, has anyone successfully completed the Support Arcanis Arm mission for the purple DOFF? I have tried it about 10 times with different variations of Purple and Blue Doffs, and I have yet get a critical success on it.
