Got that one, too. 5/6! The costumes in that movie were stunningly good. She's been a tremendous part of Joe Wright's crew, so I'm glad she won, even if the movie wasn't great.
There's nothing that Seth MacFarland is going to say that can possibly be more crass and rude than cutting that guy off by blaring the Jaws theme while he was making an appeal to save one of the VFX industry's top companies. Talk about shitting on your own industry. He didn't even give an excessively long speech. Yeah, it's humorous, but that was pretty tacky. They could have at least left the music at the same level throughout instead of making it louder and louder so he couldn't speak.
"Do You Hear the People Sing" a rather predictable piece to play for Les Miserables. Why not "Master of the House"?
^That was tacky, but he should have known that the Oscars are a place for short speeches, unless you're winning Best Actor, Actress, or Director. He should have forgone all the thank yous. 4/7 Had the Hobbit. One of my less smart choices, I guess.
I know what they're going for but that editing didn't quite work for me. GOOOOOOLLLLDD-FIN-GERR, awesome.
I guess the rumors of all six Bonds on stage together weren't true. Unless, they're going to be presenting an award later.
