...and now back to our previously scheduled program...

I tried writing the 'idea' of our pilot
    script several times here without
giving away too much... and each
    time, I did.

Suffice it to say - The script has
    a beginning (teaser), a middle (Acts 1, 2 and 3),
    and an end (Act 4).
And it was "patterned" after several
episodes of TOS to get the right
    feel.

Specifics just can't be placed here
    right now for obvious reasons...

    True.

From what I've read of it so far, it's just too rich to water down and give it's description any justice. Suffice to say, it has conflict, a great back story on the captain, a familiar face...faces, actually...well, sort of, and a nail-biter plot with a neat twist...

...aww, heck...I'm no good at this either...Charlie?

Just got off the phone with the head honcho...looks like our Christmas miracle has happened! We've met a fellow with a HUGE furniture warehouse who's a Trek fan and it looks like he's thrilled to house us!

Arrangements are being made right now to make the move...but it all looks like a go...with PLENTY of room to spare.

...and the bonus is...this guy deals in retro 60s furniture which I understand he'll be happy to loan us, so we'll have access to period pieces...

Praise be to the Great Bird of the Galaxy!

Had a big post about the new building but lost my internet connection and when I clicked "Post", it all disappeared. Here's the short version.

Looks like it will be a solid deal, guy seems to have no problems lettings us have some room very reasonable.

Get this, the building is 50' wide by 2 blocks long, yes that is blocks as in drive down the street city blocks. We're starting in a 50x50 section in one end but may be able to expand when were ready.

The best part is it's just over a mile from my apartment. For those of you considering coming here to film it's 4 miles from the airport.

    It's been a good day.

It's been a good week, first with the find of the new location and now a huge step forward.

With the warm weather we completed more painting than we had scheduled. A complete first coat is done on the entire bridge, it actually looks like a Starship now. We will finish the painting after the move.

My quick update video has been added to the Starship Ajax website on the progress page. It's well worth taking a look. A complete video and photos will be added by Tim to the Facebook page soon.

    12/30/11 Update Vid

Edit, here is a download link. I made the mistake of posting this using microsoft's media player plugin which almost never works and I've already gotten several messages saying it failed again.

    Download it here.

    Added some screen caps.
