WOW!!! I really love it ! I don't know if you or someone else on the board could do it in 3D. Actually, I'd love to see it in a show, even in a movie !

    very good work Atolm !!!

You could say it inspired the Jellyfish. Spock did spend time on Romulus, and they did have artificial singularity power cores. That might help explain decalithium/redmatter.
If you had a singularity spin out x-ray jets, that might supply an internal spiral of energy (vortex) to feed the nacelles. it might be better to have a B-wing inspired TIE Hurricane to actually rotate physically however.

I do not normally do this, but I felt this design required some more definition to show the full shape, so here are some prelims that show those main shapes, (the dorsal will not require too much details, as the full dorsal-with the wing-still shows a hell of a lot, but the ventral is another story) .
    Dorsal prelim:
Ventral showing main structure darkened by ink(wanted to show this, as once the whole drawing is inked, it will nigh impossible to tell the raised surfaces from the hull, and the sunken ones... That said, anything that looks like a vent ( you know, with lots of parallel lines or cross-hatching) are sunken into the hull. While anything that is just an inked outline is raised off of the hull as a structure (and yes, technically all of the hull lines that look like feathers would/should be raised, but we are talking the main structures :) )

Very nice... like I said in the IM... nice to see some Romulan ships from the Ambassador-era. :)

Cool how it looks like a bird with it's wings folded back in a dive in that dorsal view.

that's actually the Ventral(belly) view of the ship without the ventral wing nacelle pylon. Kind of an homage to the TOS Romulan BoP.
    But thanks for noticing :)

    Originality, baby. ...Nothing like it.

    Great job!

Draw it in a scene or do more beauty shots. I'd love to see more of it.
