While we are waiting for the next installment of the animated adventures of the Starship Farragut and her crew, thought you might enjoy reading the startrekanimated.com comic book "Dearly Departed".

I thank you very much for making this comic :) :techman:

The Starship Farragut eps are very good despite the long wait or a new part of a episode :)

This is good stuff. Thanks for bringing this to the attention of those who were unaware they existed! This particular adventure had some pretty decent art too! I liked that shuttle with the evolved aft impulse arrangement.

Capt. Nemo, great stuff! If you ever want to work on a comic together let me know.

Wow... you guys are too kind....

...a Trek book? An ongoing series? hmm - have to think about that... lots of work involved there...

John Nemo: Your work is very good. Good enough, I'd say, to warrant a thread of its own. ;)

To those who commented on "Dearly Departed", I agree that Kail and Raul did a great job with the artwork... and that new shuttle is pretty rad.

Thx, the style really isnt mine tho - it's based on Batman: TAS creator Bruce Timm. When I saw Trek 09 back in May, it opened a whole crapload of new design possibilities, like Khan on the Botany Bay, for example. Just looking around for other possible TOS stuff to stylize...

    ^ Yeah, I saw the Timm-esque echoes, but you still...you know...drew it. :)

I like a little stylistic liberty in my comics/animation. If I want absolutely lifelike or "photorealistic," that's what live action is for.
