    Trip: "Bridge, we've got him!

Sorry, Captain. We had no other choice."

Archer on the transporter pad, is clearly in shock and still looking around. Finally taking a sharp intake of breath and clutching his chest, checking to see if he's all there.

The NX-01 rises through the orange atmosphere of the gas giant, travelling at tremendous speed... then finally out through space and jumping to warp.

On the Klingon Homeworld, in the High Council Chamber...

    Chancellor: BLAH BLAH BLAH!

Translation: Now that we're all drunk we can discuss important social issues. First, I call for a vote, All in favor of requiring the High Council Members to be 3 sheets to the wind by 25 minutes before the meetings begin. This will ensure terrible leadership and entertaining council meetings.

^ The British Government's House of Lords operate a similar policy. Order! Order! Two double whiskeys and a pink gin for Lord Mandleson...

More annoyed Klingon noises, as two guards obey their Chancellor and open the door... to reveal Enterprise crewmembers beyond with the 7 foot tall Klaang in the centre.

    Klaang addresses the High Council.

Hoshi: (translating) "Something about disgracing the Empire. He says he's ready to die."

The Chancellor walks up to Klaang, and quickly pulls a knife, scaring Hoshi. The Chancellor cuts Klaangs hand with the knife. An assistant collects a sample of his blood, then taking it over to an analyzer. The screen shows a deep scan of his DNA, revealing a computerized message within. The Klingons are pleased with this, the Chancellor walks up to Archer.

Chancellor: Le-tuq-Ja-Meh-other vowels and consenents strung together.

Translation: We only tip 15 percent, do not ask for more!

Archer: I'll take that as a thank you.

Back aboard Enterprise, Archer sits in his Ready Room. The door chime rings.

    Archer: Come in.

    T'Pol and Tucker enter.

Archer: I've just gotten a response to the message I sent to Admiral Forrest. He enjoyed telling the Vulcan High Command about the Suliban we ran into. It's not every day he gets to be the one dispensing information. I wanted you both to hear Starfleets orders before I inform the crew.

Archer: It would be a little out of our way. Admiral Forrest sees no reason why we shouldn't keep going.

Archer: I have a feeling Doctor Phlox won't mind staying around for awhile. He's developing a fondness for the human endocrine system.

Archer: I think that outer hull is gonna need a little patching up. Lets hope that's the last time someone takes a shot at us.

Come on, was that ever a possibility? They didn't even make it through the next episode without getting shot at.

Trip: "Let's hope." (sounding more..."Oh yeah, like that's gonna happen!" :p)

He presses a button, the Ready Room door opens and he exits.

T'Pol moves to follow him back to the Bridge, but...

Archer: T'Pol, would you stick around for a minute? Ever since I can remember, I've seen Vulcans as an obstacle, always keeping us from standing on our own two feet.

Archer: No, I don't think you do. If I'm going to pull this off, there are a few things I'm going to have to leave behind. Things like preconceptions, holding grudges. This mission would have failed without your help.
