Diablo Cody's rather interesting second feature, starring Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried; they put out this R-rated trailer because they thought the official studio trailer didn't capture the movie well enough. I'm not normally a fan of horror movies, but it looks fun (clarifying that Jennifer is "actually evil" rather than "high school evil" got a laugh). And they somehow managed to make Seyfried look dowdy.
Don't get all the Diablo Cody hate. For a first film, JUNO was cute and clever and had a lot of heart. And I've been enjoying her column in ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY.
JUNO was ok, but I do however like Diablo's show on showtime: the United States of Tara. This movie, ehh, I'll catch it on DVD or On Demand
That looks like a good horror film with good bits of comedy thrown in. Megan Fox nude and semi nude. And Adam Brody is always a plus. That guy is hilarious.
Looks funny. But Veronica Mars has given me a weird thing with Amanda Seyfried. Whenever I see her, I can't help thinking, "Aren't you dead?"
^ Watching Alpha Dog might give you a different opinion of Amanda Seyfried. And a different view of Olivia Wilde!
I don't know if there is much. Juno made money by the wheelbarrow full and most people I've met love it. I still think it was a very transparent attempt at manufacturing hip and quirky. Not to mention a lot of the dialog is just god awful.
Whew...I'm glad that Megan Fox is veering out of mindless over-the-top movies and delving into deep character art house films...
