Dolph Lundgren has a Bacon Number of 2! Dolph was in Masters of the Universe with Frank Langella, who was in Frost/Nixon with Kevin Bacon. He must break us.
Kevin Bacon's Chuck Norris Number is 2. But that's an error, because Google thinks Norris and Mickey Rourke appeared together in The Expendables 2 when they didn't. Does ANYONE have a Bacon number higher than 2? I entered the most random actors I could think of and they all have a number of 2.
Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman (from Mythbusters) both have Bacon numbers of 3. Google says that Jamie doesn't have a Bacon Number, but President Obama was in an episode of Mythbusters, and he has a number of 2.
If you use TMP -> Stephen Collins (Decker) -> The Big Picture (1989) -> Kevin Bacon, he's still a 2, along with all of the TOS cast. In fact, the only main character in any series that doesn't have a number of 2 is Connor Trinneer. If you're only using feature films, he can't be linked at all. Does anyone know of any Trek actor that has a number of 1?
Buster Crabbe, Jean Rogers, Frank Shannon and Charles Middleton are all 3. You have to go to freakin' Mongo....
Dammit. I was thinking about going to bed in a few minutes, not going to happen now... According to Google, I don't have a Bacon Number. Which, I guess isn't surprising. So far I've worked on one film as the "stunt coordinator" (I rigged a car to drive off a parking structure, which no one in the picture thread cared about, apparently.) Taking personal interaction into account, my Bacon Number is 4.
I've spent way too much time fooling around with this. One of the first things I checked was my great uncle, E.J. André, who was a prolific TV and movie character actor. He, like most others, has a Bacon Number of 2. There was no Bacon Number for my uncle (well, ex-uncle now) Mike McNulty, who's a documentary producer, but I guess that makes sense since he never appeared on camera and Google doesn't use IMDb as a source for this.
I don't have any family in the industry but there are a few celebs who come from my hometown, and two of them both have Bacon Numbers of 2. David Huddleston was in Santa Claus:The Movie with John Lithgow, who was, of course, in the original Footloose with Kevin Bacon. Wayne Newton was in Best of the Best 2 with Chris Penn, who was also in the cast of the 1983 Footloose.
Holy cow! Reading his IMDB page is like going through my own history of television! I watched so many of those shows - I wonder how many times I've seen your uncle...
He was one of those actors where you know you've seen his face before but he's not quite famous enough to place the name. The only things I was old enough to remember watching him in during the time they were being made was when he played Eugene Bullock on Dallas and various characters on Little House on the Prairie. It was pretty cool, though.
Weird. I went to Google.ca and it worked with "Tom Selleck Bacon number" (2 - "Three men and a baby" with Guttenberg, who was in "Diner") Earlier this year I had a Google hijack trojan and sidestepped it using a fixed IP address for a Google server (which probably wasn't in the US because it automatically gave temps in C instead of F). I tried a Bacon number at http://173.194.67.103 (A Google server) and it worked.
