Agreed. I also felt like her character was underutilized in the novels and hated how she was portrayed in Rough Beasts of Empire. The scene where she meets with Sisko scarred me for life. --Sran
I haven't read that one, but I really enjoyed Donatra in the first 2 Titan novels. A great character, which I liked from first seeing her in Nemesis.
I would hope that if we got a new Trek series that featured Kirk and Spock, that it would eventually evolve to include all the characters we know. But at first, I'd like to see a focus on Kirk and Spock. The forcing everyone together from day one is my only real sore spot with the Abramsverse films. It's the same issue that I have with Enterprise: The First Adventure by Vonda McIntyre.
I can think of lots of actors, ones who regularly do TV, that would be wonderful in a new Trek. Even a partial list: Jaime Murray Benjamin Bratt Christina Ricci The entire cast of Fringe Ditto the casts from everything written and produced by Joss Whedon Anybody from Battlestar: Galactica re-imagined or its prequel(s)
She was very good in Starship Troopers. SPOILER ALERT! (1997. I know, right? ) She was one of the few characters that seemed genuinely human, surrounded by propaganda film heroes.
His appearences on CSI were capped with a scene where he is riddled with bullets and killed. Awe-some!
