I'm having a devil of time tracking down two ships that caught my interest. I've found a few shots, but I was hoping for good, high resolution renders if any exist. First is DJ Curtis' Eclipse-class Enterprise-G. Second is the Century class, one of which is often the Enteprise-F. (author unknown) I'd prefer orthographic views, but the classic four "beauty" shots (bow high, bow low, stern high, stern low) would suffice. Any help would be appreciated.
For the record, the Century-class is also by DJ Curtis. Haven't found any orthos of that one (and believe me, I've been looking), but I do have labeled orthos of the Eclipse, five 1440x0500 px JPEGs, if you're interested.
For everyone else www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSLrIjYy6JY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zk7gaOXiu4w These are the designs with the twin deflectors on the bow/sec-hull The Ent -G aft section has a nice sweep to it.
Technically, the Century only has a single main deflector. Only the Eclipse's setup is a true two-dish arangement. But damn, those are some fine vids (minus the JJ-prise, of course. :-/)
I just realized how similar the two are, except for size and proportions, they're the same basic layout.
Isn't that true for 99% of Starfleet ships out there? There are maybe a dozen different configurations, with seemingly endless variations on those few themes.
^To a large degree, but I think those two are particularly close, and of course both have a strong Sovereign influence.
I dunno, the Eclipse looks much more like a squashed Galaxy to me, rather than Sovereign. But on the Century I agree, a plausible evolution from the Sovereign.
