Oh, I though the first episode of Gossip Girl's new season was better than last season. The same but better. The odd thing is that all the girls look just the same, but the lads have all grown a couple inches around the chest to the point where they could chop wood or something. Mädchen Amick is playing the older woman defiling the jail bait little boy and she's a whole year older than Anne Bancroft when she filmed the graduate. How odd. It only seems like yesterday I was watchign Twin peaks. Well, I was watching Twin peaks yesterday.

I couldn't stomach the idea of downloading 90210 however. That just looks icky.

 

Blake Lively is an absolutely gorgeous woman. Makes the show worth watching no matter whetehr the episode is good or bad. Kinda like how I watch Ghost Whisperer just because Jennifer Love Hewitt is so damn hot.

I actually watched DVR' 90210 and it wasn't all that bad. I'm a tv junkie so I'll keep watching it. Plus I watched the original every week with my ex-wife when we were married so thought I'd give it a try.

I'm sitting here watching the repeat of 'Quest' and they've been pumping the premier next week, but does anyone know if CW is going to show 'Arctic' before the premier or not?

i think one of the reasons they're bringing in the legion is to get supergirl out of that universe as the experiment didn't work as they hoped. they were hoping she would be popular enough to get her own series, but didn't work out that way so they wanted to tie up her story without leaving her in limbo. in one iteration of the legion story, it was supergirl that they took to the future like what they did with justice league unlimited. i think they will come to take clark back but kara will go instead. that'll close her thread nicely.

 

But as said... This is how they got rid of her in the JLU toon after being so incredibly awesome for two years or so (Played by Maggie from the Nanny.), because she'd earned her own exit moments before the natural conclusion of that series.

Sure there are only so many ways that you can rewrite the dark Phoenix Saga for the screen, but this is Super Girl, she's supposed to DIE fighting the Monitor in the first Crisis. That poster where Kal is holding her corpse and crying and screaming... EPIC.

I mean given the choice of who Smallville is going to plagiarize off I'd have thunk that the answer would have been obvious.

 

Bummer.

 

That's my reason number one to keep watching that show! I feel like a trainspotting cow...

 

Me too. I'm not big with the whole "MST3K" thing, but this is just begging for it.
