^Thanks, sellina. Yes, I used to have small reading glasses--hubby called them "old lady glasses." Seeing the top of the frame got really annoying. Now that I have to wear them more often, the bigger lens is much nicer.
This is the wall in my room. It's not only there to keep me sane, it's also there to inspire my 7 year old niece, and 3 year old nephew, into learning more about science and math. Granted, my nephew is a little young to grasp everything here, but maybe the pretty pictures will get him thinking. My niece, though, I have her intrigued by science, and I'm going to work it as much as I can. (click the thumbnails for larger sizes) Also, yes, pony in the corner, because that's how I roll.

Drunk dude could barely stand (he was drunk before he arrived at my place, and I refused to serve him). On his way out the door, he fell into the window.

I hope that guy's okay. I've never seen anyone break a window at a local bar or restaurant. Drunken fights and arguments are plenty enough without having to dodge flying shards of door or window glass.
The guy was fine, as far as we could tell. One of his friends cut his hand a bit trying to help him up, but nobody got hurt too bad.
