AC/DC - Rock and Roll Train What's weird is he sings "runaway train" which would have been a better title.

The single version of "Passage Terminated," from the "Emissary" soundtrack. http://new.music.yahoo.com/dennis-m...heme-from-star-trek-deep-space-nine--23005811 It still has that late 80s/early 90s feel to it from before the point when music really lost something.
Dark Mass by Wildpath. I wish I could find the lyrics online, but unfortunately it seems that they are nowhere to be found... BTW how do you post videos as actual videos and not links? I used to know, but kinda forgot
Interesting. I would agree with you on this point--though probably for completely different reasons than yours.

Back then, synthesizers did a remarkable job at creating cold, mysterious atmospheres, yet at the same time you were more likely to have REAL instruments played by people who actually had talent. What's interesting is that the other thing that came with this single, an alternate version of the DS9 theme, sounds a lot like the Top Gun theme, or Pink Floyd's "Terminal Frost," both of which I love.
