So I disappear for a bit and no one posts a Shore Leave thread? :vulcan:

Hope to see a lot of you there. Well, you author-type folks I'll see at the Friday autograph session. Anyone else, look for a small plump red-head wearing a "Terpette" badge. I may be in the company of my extremely tall blondish husband (who is now a member of the Luna-C comedy troop and has done some work with the Starship Farragut fanfilm).

Or you could check myspace and see what I actually look like. :)

Since The Sky's the Limit came out last fall after Shore Leave, I've had a long wait, but now I finally get to sign some copies!

    See you there!

You better be there, Amy. I'll be down on my own and will need someone really cool to hang out with.

Ditto. I'm also hoping to sign lots of copies of my new "4400" novel. (Now on sale--hint, hint!) And maybe even a few copies of "Death Defying Acts," my new novel about Harry Houdini. (Also now on sale--double hint.)

Shameless plugging? Sure. But how often do I have TWO new books coming out just in time for Shore Leave?

Looking forward to catching up with you!

I'm even bringing my sister to her first ever convention. She's what I would call a very casual Trek fan (has gone to the movies, seen some eps, etc.). She's looking forward to seeing us in our native habitat.... :rommie:

You and me both, hopefully. Both Infinity's Prism and Greater Than the Sum should be available there, I hope I hope I hope. (I really don't want a repeat of last year where they had no copies of The Buried Age for me to sign for fans.)

Plus I'm scheduled for four consecutive panels on Saturday (from 11 to 3) and one on Sunday. This is my busiest Shore Leave yet.

I only want to say, I hope everyone at Shore Leave has a great time. Unfortunately I can`t be there but I will certainly be here, hoping for some exciting news. :)

One day I will make it across the pond for this, but I'll just have to settle for buying the 4400 book. Is there any news yet on whether there will be more?

Man, I wish I had the money to travel across to the States. Looking at the schedule makes me sad, as I see all the magnificent panels I would want to attend, were I there...

Unfortunately, I will not be at Shore Leave this year... :(

I hope all of you who are going have a good time (and that I manage to get that copy of The Quality of Leadership, like I planned ;)), and I look forward to hearing all of the news to come out of the con.

I'm planning on getting a sandwich and maybe having half before the panels and the other half between panels.

There will be at least four. Two by me, one by Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore, and one by Dave Mack. The first two take place before the end of the series while the next two will continue the saga beyond the series finale.
