I had to click on this thread to find out what you were talking about. I thought it must be a show about early Britain that I knew nothing about - The Angles.

But it is about Charlie's Angels, and I didn't even like the original show so I haven't bothered to watch the remake.

The Angles were cancelled. They weren't acute enough.

 

They should have set this in 70s and camped it the fuck up with overtly sexualised imagery and innuendo. I guarantee it would have been a hit or at the very least sustained a sizable cult following.

Or it would have been billed as the third "period" series to premiere this fall, after The Playboy Club and Pan Am.

They should have kept the title, but turned it into a Two and a half Men spin off.
