VOY Avatar Contest - 6X19 "Child's Play"

    Welcome to the latest avatar contest in the Star Trek: Voyager forum. First up the winners from last week.

    Cali won the Ashes to Ashes episode category with:

    ria 75 won the All Smiles VOY theme with:

    ZERO of ZERO won the Purple, Pink, and White random theme with:

    • This contest is focused on the Season 6 episode Child's Play. Icheb is reunited with his parents, but he is unaware that they plan to sacrifice him to the kill Borg.
    • The VOY theme as chosen by ria 75 is the Voyager characters Out of Character.
    • The random theme as chosen by es! will be FAIL. Pretty broad category so have fun.
    The Rules: Avs not to exceed 140x140 px and not be over 70kb in file size. Avs can be static pictures or animated, just don't go over the restrictions posted previously. One av entry per category. The theme must be Voyager related while the random is just that, random from anything. The contest runs on a bi-weekly schedule so entries will be accepted until March 2, 2009 sometime in the evening.

    Two good sites for getting images are trekcore.com and star-trek-voyager.net

    I like Icheb, he's one of my favourite characters in Voyager, but the dad came out right. What do you guys think? Save Icheb for "Imperfection" perhaps??

    Okay, select that one when you set up the poll. (Thanks for your weekly trouble, by the way.)
    I like both the way it looks and the story it tells. I wish there could be a bit more of Icheb's face in it, though. It takes knowing the episode to see what's depicted. Which is not a problem here. :D

    I might prefer the first.
    I think it's not necessarily a failure to fall short of Seven's standards. And it isn't obvious in the picture itself. (Unless one refers to his crush on her.)
    It's better if we doesn't have to rely on captions. Then again, my avatar of the Doctor not being himself could have used one, I suppose. It's just that the ones I made of him looking like he's coming from hell, later in the episode, out of uniform, disheveled (sic!) and with dark contact lenses, were too ugly. He was making such faces! :mad: :evil: :mad:

    The avatar is of an Alien and Ferro, the drop ship pilot, from the movie Aliens. She didn't make it unfortunately. :(
