Two things get you in the Hall, incredible numbers without a ring, or great numbers with a ring.

And now you have Pujols due in part to drafting him. Wish I would have had that foresight.

Strasburg did look awesome, but the hype is too much.

He could just as easily flame out or blow out his shoulder. Let's not get his HOF bust ready yet.

Braves are 13/17 after a 9 game win streak and a 4/8 road trip. I'll take it. We would have had a third win in Arizona if McClouth and Heyward hadn't collided in the outfield to let the winning run score. I would really like to go see the Rays or Royals next week. I haven't seen either of those teams in person.

Damn the NL East is topsy turvy this year so far...

Yeah the NL East has been a crapshot this year. It seems like every team in the division has been in 1st place at some point

I have high hopes for the Mets this year. They added a lot of good people. Barajas, Francoeur, Carter, Davis, Cora, Bay...this should be a definite improvement over last year. Especially without all the injuries. :techman:

Sucks that Beltran probably won't be back until after the All-Star break though. :(

Didn't notice the Mets jumped the Phillies.

Well, it would be hard for the Mets to out-fail last year :p I agree, they are a much better team this year. All they need to do is learn to be consistent and they may become real contenders.

It also sucks that Chris Carter couldn't get the ball back after he hit his first HR of his major league career. Don't know what happened to it - if it just sailed out of reach or if some loser O's fan wouldn't give it back. :(

Seriously! I know what you mean. We got the Sox-Phils on Fox here today. I thought about saying Go Sox, but it made my kidneys hurt. Then I tried, "Please Lose Philly!" and it worked much better.

I'd rather see a Phillies win. The more AL East teams lose, the better off the Yankees will be :p

Some rookie for the Red Sox named Daniel Nava (who was undrafted out of college) hit a grand slam on the very first pitch he saw in the bigs. Congratulations to him but it's sort of downhill from here unless he turns out to be another Pujols. :)

At least he didn't hit it in Miami where that one loser hoards home run balls and holds them for ransom.
