It was a joke. But still...whomever agrees with me? Let's pile-on and make this thing the logo! The forum will be even more badass and fun when we log in and see THAT every single day.:techman:

    Robau + Sombreroes = Gold!

Be kinda fun if we had a user selectable skin for the TBBS - like "Normal" and "Badass" - Badass would have a Sombrero-ized logo, Robau icons and some new smilies. Oh yeah and you have to work in the penis rock and the Sombreroprise somewhere.

    TrekBBS, apparently
Logo, schmogo. You think too small.

This image should be... the BACKGROUND! On every page of TrekBBS, Robau should be behind the text, randomly popping up into his Celestial Sombrero. Who would dare troll or flame with Robau staring them down every few seconds? We'd never need Mods again!

I did make a mini version too, but it's kinda hard to read the words...

Robau will FIND a way to make them legible.

    Don't worry about it.

I think we do need to change the TBBS tagline to "Home of the USS Sombreroprise and Shrine to the Robau Facts - Warning: Extreme Badassery inside!"

^ Robau doesn't lurk. He mods. (Whatever color is above *white*, Robau is.) And he truly does run this shit.

For that matter, Robau is both a mod...and a rocker. And he will forgive me for that joke.

    Someone asked, I answer.

    Did this last year:

And while cruising the net, I found this on a completely unrelated site (Encyclopaedia Dramatica, I think):

It's been a real busy few months at work. So busy, I apparently haven't logged onto the TrekBBS since October! But I decided to check in today, and the first thing I looked for was this thread. Here it is, still going strong. Awesomeness, thy name is Blue Warp Nacelles.

And it's probably not the first...nor will it be the last time I'm in the same post as Pedobear. Good work, though...

Hm. Seems Photobucket removed Pedobear in a sombrero. I must be a bad person.

I can still see it here. I thought if Photobucket removed it, it would be unavailable to see here.

I do not think I really want to know how that picture got its name, though.

It had already been removed when I looked at the thread yesterday. If you're seeing the image today, it's most likely because it's still resident in your browser's cache from the last time you visited the thread.

Ah, that makes sense. I shall have to check my Firefox settings. It should clear each time I close the browser.

[EDIT: I just closed Firefox after clearing History. Then ran CCleaner, restarted Firefox and signed back into TrekBBS. The picture is still there. What else should I do to clear it- and any other crap built up over time? Thanks.
p.s.- I also located and cleared browser cache, to no effect.]

Why are you trying to get rid of the picture?

    You'll make Pedobear sad.

    Oh, wait...

If you cleared your cache (in Firefox, Tools > Options > Advanced > Network) and you're now seeing anything other than a place-holder image like this in Australis' post, then I'm not sure what to suggest.
