Hello all,

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I made some designs for a Star Trek t-shirt contest. I had a ton of fun making them and wanted to share. If you like any one in particular, it would be awesome if you rated it on the WeLoveFine website (on a scale from 1 to 5, with 5 being the best rating you can give).

@Lego Thrawn, thanks for checking them out. For the Raktajino design, I had some specific & odd letter shapes in mind, so I treated the text as an image or a logo, and created my own lettering. That made it easier for me to get the tight spacing and some letters leaning on others (like the A's) or meeting up (like the K and J). The 'hologram' or 'scanline' effect was created using a mask.

 

Love the black Go Boldly T-Shirt. My only suggestion is that the black overwhelms the illustration. I'd make the design larger. Stretch it from edge to edge.

 

Thanks, smalltalk66! Glad you liked it. I actually made the design as large as it could be within the provided guidelines (they give you a template with the printable area). I agree this caused that design to come out a bit smaller than would be ideal.
